About

I came up through software engineering. The instinct never left.

Now I work with teams who recognize that tribal knowledge is a liability dressed up as institutional memory.

Background

Over twenty years across high-complexity environments where unclear processes cost hours every week. Systems analyst at Apple. Infrastructure work in public-sector IT. Support operations audit and remediation. I've built a lot of systems.

What I Do

I architect knowledge bases that users actually search. I write runbooks that junior staff can follow under pressure. I design onboarding systems that get new hires productive in days instead of months. Every system turns something living in someone's head into something repeatable and scalable.

The Operating Principle

When I leave, the systems stay. When the expert moves on, the team is fine. Documentation systems that outlive any individual.

The Code Side

Code is still home. TypeScript, React, Node.js. That shows up in side projects — full-stack work I build to stay sharp, scratch a personal itch, or test an idea. That's not the work I sell. The work I sell is documentation systems.
